Kindness and Compassion
I am a contemplative person. I have always been a writer. I write poetry, trashy novels, letters, short stories, and recipes. I have a professional blog but have never moved into a personal space with one.
I have a desire to share my opinions and philosophies and love to receive other opinions.
I will ask that when responding you remember there is a human being behind every word. Please do not be rude or cruel when responding to anyone’s post. I will moderate them and take down those deemed offensives. Feel free to share opposite opinions, but please be considerate.
All of the photographs on this blog have been taken by me or by my Daniel. Please ask before using them on your own. They may not be resold for any purpose by any company without my expressed consent.

Fracture
Fracture. Recognizing the word has never been an issue; I study rocks, gems, bones, glass, technology, and nature and can consider all of the connotations scientifically. Emotionally, fracture has come to mean something very personal. I liken the patterns of my life to fracture. Fracture of family, security, connection, ground, and even sanity at times.…

Moments, Bloom & Grow
Quietly a day passes, one to another. When you look around at the world do you see other peoples moments? This is a photo of my sisters and me. I am the baby! In May I moved through the quiet moment of my sisters’ death eight years ago. It was without question the most abrupt…

The Happiness and Joy OF the Body
Interesting concept I am working on this week, how do I know I have a body? Not a visual, but a sensational body. Okay, back away from the word sensational, we’re not talking supermodel body. I am talking about the “feeling” of having a body. The physical sensation of knowing that the energy in which…
